JOB SUMMARY:
Greets visitors and callers, supplying them with basic information about the company and ensuring that they are routed to the best possible staff resource. Provides administrative and secretarial support including travel booking, typing, filing, preparing mailings and outbound packages, and distributing mail. Also assists with many aspects of video production, including graphic design, labeling and duplication of DVDs, cataloguing and logging of videotapes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone and provide information/assistance or route caller to appropriate staff member.
  • Take phone or visitor messages and deliver to appropriate individual.
  • Greet visitors to the office and direct them to appropriate individual.
  • Sort, organize and distribute mail.
  • Type and word-process various documents and electronic information.
  • Design and produce graphics for customer products and company marketing materials, including, but not limited to: DVD menus, covers and labels; company marketing packages; PowerPoint presentations; and company website.
  • Assist Director of Operations in coordinating personnel and equipment for video productions
  • Receive and send packages.
  • Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications.
  • Catalog and log videotapes from inside and outside sources.
  • Order and maintain an adequate supply of office and production supplies.
  • Make copies, collate, and staple materials as requested.
  • Create and maintain various filing systems in an accurate and organized
    manner. Review, purge and forward files to dead storage as appropriate.
  • Organize lunches and meetings.
  • Coordinate and book travel itineraries.
  • Monitor all working area conditions to ensure they are within corporate standards for cleanliness, proper maintenance and safety.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong customer interface skills and experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or other graphic software, with demonstrated design sensibility
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organization skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.

Credentials and Experience

  • Four-year college degree preferred; otherwise Associates degree with specific courses in secretarial/office administration
  • Two years related experience or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in graphic design highly desirable

Position: Editor

DigiNovations seeks a video editor to be part of a creative team for one of New England’s fastest-growing video and multimedia production companies, located in Concord, Massachusetts (18 miles northwest of Boston).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Editing: do editing work on a variety of projects including events, seminars, product demos, and as skills allow-up to high end scripted work with motion graphics.
  • Production: image preparation and other production prep work ; Digitizing footage,video/DVD duplication; preparation of media assets for editing; color correction and image cleanup; order preparation/collation.
  • Shooting: Do camerawork for corporate and consumer/organizational jobs (Interviews, B-Roll, lectures, training sessions, shows, and other performing arts shows; also weddings); assist from time to time as production assistant (or in other role) with corporate shoots.
  • Customer Service: after developing a familiarity with company products, services, and pricing models, answer prospect/customer inquiries over telephone, through email, and in person; prepare orders for customers.
  • Administrative: filing of customer/production documents; organization of equipment and projects; tracking/analysis of product/project costs & hours.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

    • thorough familiarity with production and post-production processes;
    • a working knowledge of non-linear video editing; Adobe platform preferred.
    • strong desire to learn and great work ethic
    • exceptional client management skills.

    Knowledge of web video are a plus.

DigiNovations seeks an experienced senior video producer to be part of a core creative team for one of New England’s fastest-growing video and multimedia production companies, located in Concord, Massachusetts (18 miles northwest of Boston).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your initial responsibility will be to take end-to-end responsibility for creative projects, including:

  • pre-production planning and creative design;
  • scripting;
  • directing;
  • field producing;
  • post-production guidance; and
  • client relationship management.

You will be responsible for all aspects of delivering a successful project to the client, and for ensuring that each production is delivered on time and within budget.

In addition, as you develop familiarity with company products, services, and pricing models, you may represent the company to prospective business and institutional customers, securing their commitments to contracted services, and following through to ensure that our team delivers the services on time and on budget.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • at least five years professional experience as a video producer;
  • thorough familiarity with production and post-production processes;
  • a working knowledge of non-linear video editing;
  • strong and demonstrated scriptwriting skills; and
  • exceptional client management skills.

Knowledge of web video and experience in technology and/or education marketing are a plus.
