DigiNovations’ Benjamin Eckstein takes viewers inside an operating room simulator at Partners Healthcare’s remarkable Center for Integration of Medicine and Technology (CIMIT)As experienced educators and marketers in in science and technology, we apply our documentary filmmaking experience to create powerful films that explain, inspire and persuade.
Recently, we have created (among many other things):
- a series of films for MIT’s largest nanotechnology laboratory, explaining current research and envisioning future applications;
- a pilot for a television series for Boston’s Museum of Science, targeted at elementary school children, introducing them to the principles of engineering;
- a series of corporate snapshots from the investment portfolio of two major venture capital firms
- an internet TV channel for the National Center for Technological Literacy, showcasing its new high school engineering curriculum and giving tips to teachers on how to demonstrate key engineering concepts to high school students;
- a trade show video for a fiber optics connections company, designed to strategically “raise the bar” on what buyers should expect from high-quality manufacturing automation;
- an animated on-screen demo for a consumer GPS company;
- a corporate video newsroom for a major analytical instrumentation company, producing periodic news broadcasts to employees;
- a sales video for an aerospace manufacturing company which one of its customers called “the best in the business”; and
- a film marking the fifth anniversary of MIT’s landmark “Project Oxygen”, detailing progress on six different research fronts.
In addition we have formed an alliance with a major contract research organization (CRO) to create video training materials for clinical trials of new drugs, devices, and treatments.
Our technology background comes not only from our formal education but also from our experience founding, leading, and advising technology companies in New England.
